Warren Buffett: Apple’s video streaming service will face a ‘tough’ fight for subscribers

Famed investor Warren Buffett on Thursday said Apple Inc. will likely have a hard time competing against deep-pocketed Hollywood studios, and relative newcomers like Netflix Inc. and Amazon.com’s Prime Video, as it rolls out its new streaming video service, Apple TV+.

The challenge, he says, is that people have a limited amount of time each day to watch TV shows and movies, and there’s intense competition from entertainment companies to win as much of that time as possible.
