Pittsburgh’s biggest bank has sold its data center in Cleveland for $51.7 million, according to Crain’s Cleveland Business.
PNC Financial Services Group plans to continue operations at the 13-acre site, which includes three buildings and where it employs more than 2,000.
The buyer was BFR Cleveland Office LLC of New York City.
National City Corp., which PNC (NYSE:PNC) bought in late 2008, originally started an operations center at the site, 4100 W. 150th Street, in the 1970s.
